Shaking the Salt

By living out the restored life Jesus purchased for us, God blesses the world through us by using our example to slow the world's decay and lift lost eyes to Him. 

 

¹³ “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.

• Do people experience you as a "salty," thriving follower of Jesus who embodies the life He purchased for you; or as one consumed by the fallen values of this world with them?
• How is your saltiness being polluted by the muddy values of this fallen world? What sins to do you need to turn from in His power to live more fully in/for Him in this world?
• Are you more shaped by the values of this world or by the Word of God?
• Are you vitally connected with others in the Body of Christ, so as to help one another grow up in Christ together?
