The more we see Jesus as He is, and life in His Kingdom as ultimate, the more we will follow Jesus and advance His Kingdom regardless of the cost.

10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.

Matthew 5:10-11 ESV

  • Have you discovered Jesus is the only way to peace with God and the life you were created to enjoy in Him?
  • If you're His, do you see Jesus as He is? As the infinitely beautiful One and source of the life you seek; or as something less? You'll know by how you respond when you're persecuted for Him.
  • God's Word (the Bible) reveals who Jesus is and what He has done to make us His. Do you fill your mind with this truth about Him as much as you allow the word to do the opposite? You'll know by how you respond when you're persecuted for Him.
